One simply cannot imagine the Pennys in pursuit of romance. As we begin the “March Madness” season, the concept of a losers bracket comes to mind.Ma, as ever, wonders aloud what we wonders quietly, what possessed Joy to marry him.
It’s that one that Schroeder erased his name from, and gave to Charlie Brown…..oh, pie!! That was PEANUTS, riiiiiiight, But then, that wasn’t such a stretch of the imagination.
Has anyone noticed that the number of replies has decreased! 5 comments, used to be 40 or so, maybe people are tired of the recycled strips and repeats.

Do you remember them from early printings…. or is there something afoot I do not know about? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I personally was assuming that the number of comments has gone done lately since (at least to me) during the last few weeks, there have been far fewer “Dinette Sets” whose humor has really struck gold. For whatever reason (to me at least), the last few weeks have been lackluster and not as clever a comic as Julie has typically been able to create. When Burl’s “two abs” comic is really the one I find the funniest during the last two weeks, then something is wrong.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Please do not get me wrong, I love the “Dinette Set” comic! I am hopeful it will be its “old self” very soon. I was just saying that to me it has become a lesser shell of itself.
Whenever I point out a rerun it’s because I remember it from when I first saw it. Some of these panels are a few years old, but some are a bit more recent, maybe within the last 8 months or so . . . ? Anyhow, I’m a bit worried about Julie, since it seems at least half of the strips, if not more, have been repeats lately.

Sadly, as am I. Heidi, Cheryl and Jennifer have all essentially told me the same thing. Maybe some Hadacol or Geritol might help. Or goat glands.
