One of my favorite pictures is one taken at my sister-in-law’s wedding: My husband and me with his 2 sisters and new brother-in-law. In order, it’s BIL (6’), SIL bride (5’10"), my husband (5’ 7-1/2"), me (5’) and other SIL (5’9"). I’m barely in the picture!
Regarding the comments about being too short to “see over the wheel” while driving, I occasionally see one of those “driverless” cars on the road, and wonder if the person behind the wheel (if there IS a person behind the wheel) is using a periscope…
When I was in college I was about a foot taller than my father. I had a picture of us standing side by side and my mom cut us off at the knees. The first time I showed the picture to a friend he asked me what I was standing on, and when I told him I wasn’t standing on anything he asked what my dad was standing in. After that, whenever I showed someone the picture I started out by saying that I wasn’t standing on anythng and my dad wasn’t standing in anything and that we were both flat footed.
At least with these modern basketball uniforms, He comes up to the hems of their shorts.Remember the 40 foot tall statue of the King? It was life size, but had a 39 foot base!

Get some shoes with very high lifts, in the meantime, and order your subjects to kneel when in photos with you…
