761st and gopher…probably tried to put the r in parentheses…to indicate it was added…but (r), (c) and (tm) are forum shortcuts for ®, © and™. I discovered that accidentally, too..after years of trying to remember he actual HTML codes.LOL.

Gopher… just in case you ever see it…yeah, I knew those were Word shortcuts, but I never thought to try them in the forums…
First I looked up the actual HTML numerical codes for stuff like copyright, then it took me years to discover that you could just use the words…ie © …
Then years more to discover that (c) works here. Duh.
As for Word… seems like the newer it is, the less it wants your input.One day it’ll just take over and write your documents itself…and the heck with what you wanted them to say.
