Took me a few minutes to get this one. My groundings usually meant something taken away, since there was nowhere to go where we lived.

I also remember a storyline from 1993 in which Paige got into hot water with her mother when her mom found out her daughter and her friend went to see to see the R-rated movie Indecent Proposal. Wow, talk about fallout big time!

One time, when we were 16, my best friend and I decided to go see a movie. The choices were slim, so we randomly picked the movie “So Fine” with Ryan O’Neal. Half-way through the movie we realized that it was Rated R! I don’t think my parents ever found out; I know my friend’s didn’t.

I’ll never understand why it is fine to show bloody murders and assault on prime time but a bare breast will somehow warp a child.

When on Spring Break back in the late 60’s, I and a couple other college buddies went west to San Francisco and a few other locations including Las Vegas. I believe we were 18-19 at the time..Anyway, we did see “I Am Curious Yellow” while in San Francisco. These days, you likely could watch similar fare on most cable stations…
