In case you’re wondering, the movies in question were “Day of the Dolphin”, which depressed me beyond words, and “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, which I thought was going to be about animals.
My father figures I still count. I’m 36, but his kid. I figure Dad never grew up so why should I? I belong to a dementia caretaker’s online support group (due to my mother) and one of the sweet stories this week- a granddaughter asked her grandma if she’d like to watch Disney movies together once a week. The mother joined the DVD club thing when she heard about it to supply her 24-year-old daughter and her mom more movies.

After two disastrous trips to the movies back in the 70s, my darling then-fiancé took me to see Cinderella, which out a kid between us.
