Back in the dog house again for Earl.

You HAVE to use good soap if you want the dog to get good and clean.

The whole of idea of decorative utilitarian stuff drives me nuts. Decorative soap, towels, pillows, china, candles, etc. If I can’t use it, I don’t need it.

I may have the best solution ever to this problem: I haven’t bought a bar of soap in at least twenty years. It’s all pure castile liquid soap from a squirt bottle, and I use it for my hands, to shower, to wash the dishes, to scrub vegetables, etc. If I had a dog I’d use it to bathe him too.

My wife has good face soap as well. I bring it home in little boxes from hotels I stay in on business trips.

Interesting that Earl is doing the crossword. Latest numbers in the dead-tree-news biz say that over 75% of crosswords are done by women.

If I were only blamed for the many wrongs I haven’t done, I could rail against the injustice. It’s much harder to complain when I’m guilty.

(Doesn’t stop me, but ’tis harder)

What’s the point in having a dog if you can’t blame him for your shenanigans?
