The accountants have been so busy working the last couple of months (tax season) that they wouldn’t have time for marathon training.

I’m pretty sure the idea was far more simple, in fantasy baseball, you do get a lot of accountants.

I think it’s that they can’t train for a marathon but the tax returns train them for the number crunching of fantasy baseball.
