I know it’s the principle, but what does the interest on the money the gov’t borrows cost us? Plus, it’s more enjoyable to have money put (back) into my bank account than to have to write another check – or find an online payment method, that also has a cost. After having to pay even a small amount this year, I realize I’d rather buy a small refund.

And the treasury could go paperless also…………… so much easier than wasting paper to print more and more money…
