I was wondering if Sandy was going to knock one of those house boys down coming out the door. Quit Yakin’ Ollie, (oops, wrong Oliver) and get on the trail. You won’t understand what Sandy’s saying, let him show you..

    Mornin’all you Annie fans.

Have I been around long enough to be a sock puppet yet?

Stopped my nebulizer treatment to gove this hrsds-up

I shall. when finished, bring you a poem dealing with a grave situation which I am certain all of you will recognize!!

Okay. I have finished inhaling (COPD) or injesting, my meds for tonight, so……… I shall explain, sort of, a grave situation that is famiier to all of you.

Life is, you know, a fatal situation Brought about as a result of a human recreation in a form entertainment called copulation, Which is practiced all across this great nation. It often leads to a period of gestation Which I’m sure must seem of endless duration And, often impedes one’s ambulation. It has been known to cause consternation When it happens without expectation, Which could give rise to indignation.

Now it takes a pair of like inclination, With just a bit of natural lubrication, Togetherwith a period of mutual dedication Which leads to an ecstatic sensation, Followed by incubation And the onset of lactation, When another is added to the new generation Giving rise to justification For much celebration Accompanied by great admiration For the fruit of procreation And, of course…… A new fatal situation!

Munch on that one for a bit. :-)))

    Good Morning everybody.

Leaky - I was hoping for the same thing. Can I be an official Sock Puppet too? Huh? Can I, can I, huh?

Marg (from yesterday) - I agree about Gasoline Alley. It’s already pretty crowded there with the GA enthusiasts. I go there every day and occasionally leave a comment. Mutt & Jeff usually has only a small handful of comments.

fred. Annie ‘reruns’ ? - Wish they would, but that has not been a TMS style.

King Features does it with three, or so strips e,g. they have 2 Phantom strips (old & new) running at the same time

And what may complicte matters is that some Company started printing the old strips in Book form.

That would be IDW, Sydney. So far they have four volumes out collecting the strip from the very beginning in 1924. Volume 5 is due to ship this week which brings matters up into 1935. No Ezra Eon yet, I believe. It would be academic if Go Comics or Trib Syndicate would reprint the Harold Gray stuff on this web site. It’s a bit disheartening to read that this great strip will be pulled altogether. There is so much missing material yet to share with us fans. I’m going to miss the little redhead.

Actually, I said inhaler, of a medical nature, and although I feel that the stuff Clinton denied inhaling can be a medical boon, it was, unfortunately, not of THAT nature.

For you outdoors sort: Ever try to slip quietly though the woods with a bkuejay overhead telling everything you’re there?

No more medical tests until Fall. Old age requires quite a bit of maintenance. I can’t risk losing my “job” here.

I know about that. I’m about three-and-a=half months from numero 79. I have appointments more months than not what with all the “‘ologists”. Lots of maintaining, VB. Got an apointment in the A.m. I’ll be leaving early tonight.

    Morning, Anniephans!

Here is where we continued looking for a place to meet. Gasoline Alley was eliminated because it was too crowded, but Mutt and Jeff was still being considered.
