Must be a British thing. I don’t understand the humor in this one either.

Not at all, Andy is showing sympathy for Douglas: he’s basically telling Douglas that he doesn’t know what he’s letting himself in for by getting married.

Personally what I think it is, is that Andy off strip was trying to get from Douglas (like money/drink/…), and now that he knows that he is engaged there is on chance of getting, so he is telling him to forget it.

It’s a typical British term of comfort or condolence. Like “Try not to let it ruin your day”. (or your life). I guess that’s as close as a Andy can come to “Congratulations!”

I may have seen that before, but now for shoor. -$$-I saw those, but didn’t know what shows. You have too much free time (if you know all those) :-)-I crane my neck to see the top of the ivory tower of learning, and there you are ! -Not so, really. It has been a long time and because the comments were so voluminous, with Luann in first place, I was neglecting other places I normally talk. D.T. is so busy, because of the quality and most likely due to it being a serial where you can wonder and speculate where the story will go. I doubt there is anybody under 40 there. A small few girls talk on it. The battle royals, in the past, were so bad I didn’t read comments some days, and was fascinated by the clever word play as means of weaponry on other days. A.C. trolls would get a good beat down with THAT crew in here. -Well, you could do a 2 week getaway here before these temps climb to unbearable… at the profile..-Cool again today, but I will get something done. -Fabulous Finally comes whipping around the corner. There’s also an American Dad one but I prefer the Family Guy and South Park Wiki.-I’ve never fully watched those shows. I don’t like reality TV. I have better things to do with my time. I’ve only seen them because they were lodged into Beavis and Butthead episodes.-Just common knowledge. ‘Curriculum vitae’ is Latin.-Dick Tracy is not my sort of place to hang out anyway. You also used to talk at Frog Applause if I’m correct. There used to be a lot of comments there. I don’t know if there still is. I’ve never visited that strip for ages.-As I’ve said many times, I’ll come over to Colorado when I win the lottery. I’ve been watching this video of a man who shows you everything about horses. It looks like he lives in Colorado because of the mountains. This video doesn’t show the mountains but I love this video and the horses are beautiful. It looks like Colorado.
