I was surprised long ago when I learned that Brent Spiner, “Data” in ST-TNG, couldn’t stand cats. A tribute to his acting that his dislike never showed when he had scenes with his pet cat “Spot” on the show!

I’m sure that must be what the old people in my neighborhood think when they walk past me and my friend. Overhearing a snippet of our weird conversation would probably seem very strange to them.
