Roland: Finished up, have we? Joanie: We seem to have. Roland: Well, it's been great spinning and drying with you. What did you say your name was? Joanie: Joanie. Joanie Caucus. Roland: Nice to meet you, Joan. Joanie: Thank you. It's certainly been interesting meeting you. Roland: I'd follow through, but I leave on a mission tonight. Joanie: That's okay. I hadn't gotten my hopes up.

Oh, I don’t know. I’d say it all depends on what you were hoping for.

All Joanie had to do was say, “my husband is also a reporter. He’s Rick Redfern with the Washington Post.”He would’ve left Joanie alone.

Darn thing is, Geraldo had a good show back in the ’70’s called “Good Night America.” Then he had Hugh Hefner on as a guest, and it all went downhill from there.

Notice how she says her name is “Joanie,” and he immediately calls her “Joan.” Doing customer support, I am sensitive to this: call them what they tell you to call them. My boss goes by “James,” and is “Jim” and "Jimmy"d all the time.

How I’ve loved this arc – hate to see it go. BTW, it looks as though the laundry bag is making a pass at the detergent.

She needs to get home so she can fall down on the floor and laugh her head off. She’s just too polite to do it there.

I didn’t take issue with what you said — it was insightful and caring. I just offered another option.
