Still first arc is so weird given what’s been seen in the rest of the strip- here, Frank had no issues asking out Brandy, but was a boring, uninteresting date. Cho instead later writes Frank as a shy, mopey guy who just fawns over her from afar, and can’t bring himself to say anything. This first arc just makes it look like Frank isn’t a good match anyways.
