Not really. How about the fact that he is really British and has starred in his own series with Stephen Fry, and played supporting roles in all of the “Black Adder” series except the first, and was in several other comedy series. He did play a doctor on “A Bit of Fry & Laurie” at least once.

This is pathetic. Try “I need a doctor who makes house calls.”

Hugh Laurie’s father was a physician In England as well as an Olympic gold medal winner in rowing at the 1948 London Games, as long as we’re piling up trivia.

I thought of mentioning that as well, but I was afraid I’d wind up posting one of those block-long things that no one wants to read through. I first remember him as Lord Monty on “The Young Ones.”

I happen to enjoy house. And each wrong diagnosis is usually right until a new symptom appears. ‘m watching the House marathon on USA right now, the one where he’s in the psychiatric hospital with that crazy roomie, Alfie.

“I once played doctor with the neighbor’s daughter – now I have to stay 300 yards from any school zone. Is that helpful?”
