Not even a short “way to go Nate”?

you say that yet nate has proven time and again that left on his own he’s going to fail the test every single time. gina is getting a few words of praise for what amounts to a lot of effort in tutoring someone. she deserves it and we all know nate isn’t going to give it to her.

Ok most of us predicted that will happen, or maybe mr pierce reads the comments…. but yeah i think nate should have gotten some if not all the credit, Gina did a great job at teaching nate but it was nate who did the test. I think 60% of the credit should go to gina but 40% Should go to Nate

Nate only regurgitated what Gina taught him a couple of days ago. She knows stuff, he’s only a copy machine. You don’t praise a copy machine.

welcome to the real world. favoritism, people taking all the credit without doing any work, and the resentment that fosters until it blows up.

Great, Gina gets all of the credit. She did save both of Nate’s and Mrs. Godfrey’s summer, but Mrs. G could of said one nice word to Nate.

Congratulations well deserved, Nate’s score shot up 23 percent with one test, and the only variable changed was Gina. Why shouldn’t she get credit for that? If Nate wanted to get credit, he should have tried harder during the rest of the year.

This is the sorta thing Gina does daily, wheres it’s marginally more impressive that Nate actually worked hard.

Cheez-whizz!! Call it what it is: Nate (clumsily!) “picked” his tutor, and my guess is, without that, no way would he have cleared 70. I expected him to not show a shred of gratitude…….that’s NatesWorld for you: she saved his summer, even if she is his “mortal enemy”.

All this pretty much figures, given the known temperaments of the cast in this vignette!!

reminds me of my fair lady, where prof. Higgins got all the credit for Eliza.

I think that we all predicted the outcome of this. However, Lincoln could have thrown a twist on this.

This may have been covered already, but let’s say Nate did NOT pass. Would Godfrey have criticized Gina or Nate? If Gina gets the credit for things going right, she must also take responsibility for things going wrong.

When are we going to be done with this storyline where we have reason to like neither Nate, because he’s being a brat, nor Mrs. Godfrey, because she’s being a terrible teacher?

Ugh

so , you’re telling me that if Nate didn’t score a 92 or higher on the test, he would have to spend 8 weeks with Mrs. Godfrey, preventing him from going to the fair, meaning he wouldn’t meet Trudy and look for her for a month and a half , meaning he wouldn’t get his third girlfriend and we would have to wait for maybe 20 years to get a girlfriend…. and you thank Gina?! you are EVIL!!!!

This is so unfair. Nate got a high score and all credit goes to Gina? Nate could have flunked, and it would have been Nate’s fault

In my opinion, this is one of the worst moments of Mrs. Godfrey, right along with when she played umpire at Nate’s baseball game
