Eddie: Pop! You can't move to Arizona! Ernesto: Why not? I'm only going to open a business in Arizona... Eddie: What kind of business? Ernesto: Mexican souvenir import shop.
The appeal was very unsuccessful because the majority of voters support it…even those of hispanic ethnicity. The crime corridor has simply mirrored mexico and has become more violent and audacious, like the idiots who think the polls are off somehow and need to be juggled by the media back into the free slave market place.
I said it once I’ll say it again. If you do not go after the employers of illegal immigrants you will never ever solve the immigration problems. If you do go after the employers the problem solves itself and you do not even have to try to arrest and deport the illegal immigrants. They will leave on their own accord.
Arizona is a state where you need to wear oven mitts to open your mailbox in the summer. No wonder they’re so hot headed about illegal immigrants there.
Badto Thebone, surely you realize that many of the illegal immigrants are self-employed, everything from pool cleaners to cartel hit men. Maybe even cartoonists.
What you say is not entirely true. Yes, the customer is the boss, but that does not make the customer the employer. I have a doctor, he is self employed, and he works for me when I need him to. When I pay him, I do not withhold any taxes, federal, state or social security. I do not have an EIN. I do not carry workmans comp insurance on anyone. I do not have a pool. I do not contribute to the state unemployment fund. In short I am not an employer. Also, you might note that some of the illegal aliens’s employers are outside of this country anyhow. Makes it kind of hard to go after them.

RAINMAN:
You realize you just proved Badto Thebones’ point? You may own a business, but your customer is the boss. BTY who cleaned your pool last?
