Budget cuts? There were no budget cutting in 1960’s the economy was great (before Nixon, Regan, Bush Sr., and G.W.Bush).

@Josh 1360, you forgot Ford, Carter, & Clinton. Although things did rebound a little under Clinton.

It’s a cartoon about a boy and a dog communicating telepathically about a nursery rhyme lunar occupant and his lack of companionship due to the fiscal limitations of government bureaucracy, presented in eye pleasing graphics.

If this forms a basis for political commentary you’re looking too hard in the wrong places.

    I like Rover’s nose.

How lucky we are that our Dear Leader has determined that there is nothing more to learn about or do on the moon.

So I guess selenologist is not a good career path.

“things did rebound a little under Clinton.”

As noted in other places Congress controls the budget, Clinton had a Republican Congress. The last one with enough members to actually do anything. Both parties have helped to increase the deficit since whether it’s been too much spending or to little tax cuts (to stimulate the economy).

I left out Ford, right. Thanks. Carter did his best in the late 70’s, and thanks to Regan in 1980’s, to this day, there’s cutting and downsizing everywhere! Which my edlers told me when I was young, “never vote republican!”

jerseybillfromva, what do you think the President is, if not a politician? Who was the last President we had who was not a politician? (Granted, most of them know where the Shift key is on a computer keyboard…)

Space Shuttle Atlantis is flying its last mission right now, coincidentally.

Actually there is a woman-in-the-moon. She’s suppose to be more visable later at night. I think I saw her once. It looks like the full figure of a woman, not just a face. Though I believe ArthurAllen might be right in his observations about the shuttle program, and the space program in general. Think about it.
