Lucy: So what kind of story do you want to write?
Danae: I haven't decided yet...right now, it's a toss-up between a gripping memoir and wild fiction. And, yes, smarty-pants, there is a difference.
Lucy: O-o-o-h...maybe you should write a book on mind reading.
But whose memoir? A precocious little girl or her stuffed animal? Of course, âwild fictionâ just might be it; I canât say since am trying and not let Lucy read my thoughtsâŠ.and failing.
âI almost married Marilyn Monroe.ââReally?ââYes, I proposed, and she turned me down.ââSo?ââSo if sheâd said âyesâ Iâd have married her!â
Every fiction writer draws from what they know and have experienced. They just sort of âmix and matchâ different elements. And if your experiences are unusual enough, youâll have to write them as fiction, because no one will believe them.
The topic doesnât matter to Danae so everything is in play.In either event she might consider using Eddie as proof-reader. Then it would really be âwildâ.

Think MOVIE first, then book. How about a story that you can cast Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover model Hannah Davis and a talking horse?
