Wow- “Cream of Frosted Flakes”…– Only thing is, you don’t have to “hurry up” and eat Gazpacho, for fear of “soggies”…..– If “You are what you eat”, Brewster is definitely a “Froot Loop”…

He’s got it backwards. That’s not breakfast soup. Minestrone is dinner cereal with a salad.

No, Pam, you’re missing the point. You should never talk to Brewster, period. Not if you want to keep your sanity…

He’s a hundred per cent correct. As long as you define liquid food with solid chunks as soup that’s soup.

They should market their own brand: R.U. Cereal!

I like my breakfast as more of a stew than a soup, or maybe a tasty salsa.

Pam’s question in panel #2 reminds me of Mad’s “Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions.” Brewster’s possible replies:

“No, I just walked in and found these poor depressed Fruit Loops, who are committing suicide in this bowl of milk.”

“No, I ran out of ink, so I’m letting the color from the Fruit Loops dissolve in the milk and then I’ll use that.”

“No, there weren’t any tea leaves for fortune-telling, so I’m substituting Fruit Loops.”

“No, ___________________________________________.” (fill in your own answer)

Brewster’s actually right. Except that it’s Froot, not Fruit.
