Wow, I’m one in a billion because I’ve done this! We bought some lamps from Ikea but bought the wrong bulb to go with one of them. So I went there, got the right bulb, checked it with the lamp in the store, bought the bulb and left. .Now Costco is another story… I can’t leave there without spending at least $50 (usually closer to $100) even if I go in for 1 item.

That’s why stores are continually moving stuff….you see other stuff you “need” while searching for the item you came in for.

It would never occur to me to Go to Ikea for a Light Bulb.That’s just not how I think of that store.
