Man: Scientists say the object headed for the moon is a big dirt clod, and the impact is expected to look extremely awesome.
At the moment the odds are 5:1 against the moon exploding rather than the dirt clod.
No surprises here considering the grammar, spelling and syntax I have come across in both internet and print ‘journalism’ the last few years.
Sooo … Is there a joke in there somewhere?
The joke is about kids who throw dried up dirt clods against a wood barn have fun when the clod bursts into a big cloud of dust and does not cause any damage. And in this drought there are a lot of dried up dirt clods. Now go feed the dog.
