Thus begins a longtime obsession.

The bear-slapped fish might be possible.

Yay! Fish-catching bears! They’re almost as cool as pangolins.

Fish-slapping? Like with a white glove for a duel? These must be southern bears. “You insult mah honor, suh!”

Yay! It’s good to see Alice so enthusiastic!And I’d be delighted to see some fish-slapping bears, too!

Bear catching?!

I remember being so excited about joining Brownie Scouts because my brother’s Cub Scout troop did so many neat outdoor things. We made pincushions out of toilet paper rolls and decorated cottage cheese tubs with rafia. So much for excitement. I do think the Girl Scouts have evolved over the past 60 years, though.
