Yeah. Since when did work come before family?

And he thought he was going to catch a sucker.

At least he was smart enough this time to catch himself before putting his whole foot in his mouth.

Itinerary for the trip was carefully planned. Rod’s father, Tom Johnston, knew the area and had the planned location of the canoe party marked on a big aerial map. Their trip was to end at Yathyked Lake, where Rod could ease the plane into a bay and pick them up. It was going to be a long flight…much longer than expected. (To be continued…)

C’mon, Elly, he’s excited. He’ll miss you and the kids. Everyone needs a break from time to time.

What about a break for Elly? If she left for even a few days, he’d go nuts.

She’d have to bring in the earth mover to clean up the mess.

Darn, beat me to that comment by that much ll.

For many men throughout history, many things came before family.

Alicom, Elly did go off for a few days, to a convention, remember? She had a great time!

He’s so happy! We will see how long it lasts.

For men, work is his way of loving his family. He is providing for their food, shelter and welfare. So yes, for a man, work should come before family in priority. If women would accept this, there would be a lot fewer arguments. (And yes, I am a woman.)
