He who goes on all those toboggan rides downhill and smashes into trees is scared???

Most of us learned it this way! My father hold the bike, than he let it go, I didn’t recognize it, I could ride it very good, but recognizeing it, I fell down!!

Just tell him it’s a prerequisite for learning to fly jet packs and space ships.

How does a 6 year old know about the ionosphere without the world wide web?

And Calvin doesn’t remember the first two years:Calvin and Hobbes (August 1, 1989)

Calvin’s really quick with a retort when he wants to be.

I think Calvin has a good point. Six years, especially the cutest years, are nothing to go by. Wait till the teen years are in full swing and then review their relationship.

I realize the strip wouldn’t be so funny, but why isn’t a boy Calvin’s age using training wheels?

This storyline is really cracking me up.

It was a bit harsh what Calvin said though.

When I was a kid, bikes were just magical – I couldn’t even understand how they moved. For Calvin, it must be something even more warped than his fantastic universe! :)

I think I’m with Calvin on this one — Dad’s track record isn’t that great.
