Just as a human's skin pigment protects their DNA from UV damage- a blue whale's skin also tends! I want it now! It takes 7 to 21 days to make a single jellybean! Death and taxes! The IRS employee tax manual has instructions for collecting taxes after a nuclear war.

That must be why you don’t see Violet eating jelly beans.

re IRS. . . Of course they do. Would we expect anything less from our illustrious government?

The jelly bean thing would be more impressive if they didn’t make them 10 billion at a time.

1)There are THREE things certain in this life: Death, taxes, and more taxes!!
2)These days one doesn’t have to be in Dallas or Austin to be deep in the heart of taxes!!

If the IRS shows up here after a nuclear war to collect taxes. I’m going to be making some IRS Jerky!

I wonder why some take 7 days to make while others take 21 days.

That just goes to show how out of tune the IRS is with realism. I would give a day salary to see that operational procedure Page 1 of !00 as directed (a) Geared up with Geiger counter is optional in relation to ground zero, but mandatory for G11’s & upper pay grades. (b) Collect DNA from immobile or otherwise deceased subjects: (note) see the scrapper and plastic bag provided in check -out kit Yada Yada Yada

This site doesn’t sound like it takes so long. I wonder if they used to use a different system? You can also find plenty of recipes online, which don’t take as long. Looking at some of the manufacturer’s sites, no mention is made of them taking a long time. Of course lack of evidence doesn’t prove much, but I do wonder where (and when) Ripley’s information came from. My Dad used to work with a guy who’d spent something like 20 years travelling the world tracking down stories for Ripley to verify the claims. Listening to him, it sounded like they were real careful.http://wonderopolis.org/wonder/how-are-jelly-beans-made/
