“What’s the phone number for 911?”

Wasn’t that supposed to be “BEWARE UV DOG”?

The “OV” part is a mind trick. There is a statement that tells you to count the number of “Fs” in it. If you read it and come up with 5 (just a number) the actual answer maybe 7 or 8 because the brain skips the OFs because of the “V” pronunciation.

In the interest of accuracy, maybe he should have pestered her more.

Funnier punch line would have been, “Can we get a dog?”

We can only be grateful he’s not dyslexic, or that sign could have read, “Beware ov God”
