It is like magnets.The repulsive effect can be overcome by superior force, and then there is an attraction.You just have to get past the initial repulsion by applying a greater volume of force.

And the worst sound system with which to blast it.

In some states if a Police Officer can hear it w/in 25 feet a ticket is written. I wish it was that way in all 50.

…..because they’re deaf.

OR will be.

Try putting up your top and closing the windows. And maybe turning on some loud classical music. That should drown out the offensive sound.

Contrary to a popular song, I’d like some more treble and less BASS.

One night, my wife and I heard booming bass in the house. I looked in the street, thinking it was a passing car. No. I drove around the subdivision, and finally realized it was coming from the Verizon Amphitheater, five miles from my home. I looked at their website, and they did have a concert by a heavy metal band from the eighties.

On the otherhand,I’ve noticed that everybody thinks the other people have the worst taste in music.

Hey! I represent that remark!!

It reminds me of some of the bands I heard in high school: if you can’t be good, be loud.

Everybody has a right to my tunes.

It is a question of whether listening to crappy pop music causes brain damage, or whether one has to have a damaged brain to listen to it in the first place.

Or as a friend of mine once screamed, “Playing bad music loudly doesn’t make it good music!”

When I was young, I listened to music (what is now considered classic rock) at a higher volume than was necessary. I’m sure there were people that did not like it. But then I grew up and no longer do it. Why not show a little tolerance and let the kids be kids, most will grow up to complain about the younger generations.
