My grandfather used to say that although he lived through two world wars and the Depression, he still lived during the best times. For the most part, I agree with him.

My great-grandma was born in 1899. But she passed away a long time ago. I like to think about the fact that she was alive when the Blessed Mother was appearing in Fatima, Portugal. And in 2017, I hope to be there to celebrate the 100th anniversary of that.

In regards to yesterday’s strip, not all women gained the right to vote in 1920. Black women didn’t supposedly gain the right to vote until 1965, most couldn’t break through the many barriers to be able to do so.

Oh man, is he ever right! There is a vote today or next week to have the CIA stop torturing people! We are better than that, or used to be.Torture was what other, evil, countries do.I called my congressman and said to vote for putting the CIA under the same rule that had the US military stop torture.THe politicians want us to quibble about abortion and gay people to distract us from the way more important things that are wrong, so they can do things in secret without people noticing. Sorry about the rant, this touched me. A little child shall lead them. But who?

Yes, Thatababy. There are many things more important than Wi-Fi connections.
