It’s like Déjà Pepperoni all over again. Now place that slice between hamburger buns with some spicy brown mustard, Tabasco sauce, and anchovies (just some bits not the whole filet) and I think you got something.Oh, Wait!Don’t forget the bacon!
I can’t choose between burgers and pizza… depends on what burger and what pizza….
But I can say that I will gladly eat the points for anybody who wants the crust edge from my slices….And I can also say…x_Tech…. yuck!!!!
Anchovies … yes.Extra bread, plus mustard and Tabasco on a pizza…….ew….
Pizzas are Italian.Pizzas have sausage and mushrooms and olives and bell pepper.Tomatoes and onions and lots of cheese and garlic and basil and oregano.
They’re good with eggplant, anchovies, and pesto or gremolata.
Heck, I’m not a big fan of the crust at all. I mean, I’ll eat it, but if you just gave me the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni or sausage, I’m happy as a clam. In fact, I have an awesome pizza dip recipe that I’ll share with you who are not the biggest fans of pizza crust:
First, whip together 8oz if cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sour cream or plain Greek yogurt (I like to use French Onion dip), 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (If you like things less spicy, leave this out like I do). Spread this into the bottom of a round quiche dish or square baking dish. Next, pour over the cream cheese mixture 8 oz of pizza sauce (I just use the whole jar of Ragu Homestyle sauce. For this recipe, you’d have an extra half cup, if you double, you’re short a half cup, but it all works). I like to sprinkle parm/romano blended grated cheese over the sauce. Next, shake over a 1/2 cup of diced pepperoni, 1/2 cup of scallions, 1/2 of green pepper (I prefer to leave off the scallions and pepper). Next, top with a cup of mozzerella cheese (I prefer the pizza blend that has cheddar in it).
Bake this at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted or you can microwave. This can be served with Triscuits or some other kind of cracker or bread. I’ve found Ritz Chips, seasoned Wheat Thin crisps, or seasoned pita chips work the best!
My favorite pizza is a veggie pizza and my favorite burger is a veggie burger. Odd thing is, though, I’m not a vegetarian. I just like those two things.
French bread pizza…french bread (split and quartered), pesto sauce, mozzarella, turkey pepperoni,, green olives and mushrooms. Top with more cheese and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Yum!

Pizzas do NOT have buns, mustard…ranch dressing…. barbecue sauce….
or especially pineapple.
