You guys are missing the point. The point is liberals are all for him/her doing what they did until they find out they are a republican. Then it’s suddenly not okay. The hypocrisy is real.
Gender sure confuses people. There’s a broad spectrum of human behavior, isn’t there? I have no animus against Bruce or Caitlyn, and wish him her all the best. What always sticks in my mind is the notion that people accept transsexuals as “normal.” It’s not normal in the statistical sense, that is, in consideration of a couple standard deviations from the mean of a distribution of gender-related behaviors. But in a strictly physiological sense, it’s not normal either. I don’t mind him her being abnormal. De gustabus non es disputandum. But I wonder what his her chromosomal makeup looks like in the context of gender “reassignment?” Acceptance of his her choice to give full credence to his her gender confusion is absolutely fine. He she IS quite brave to have made that choice. And, of course, he she doesn’t feel at all confused. There’s plenty of room in this world for all sorts of people.
Except it’s not. I would dare say that conservatives are more diverse and forgiving of thought than Liberals. After all, Liberals are all about free speech, unless they disagree with the message. They are in support of choosing to execute your unborn child, but are against choosing to have the child and keep it or give it up for adoption. They are for birth control being given in schools, but they are against it being available OTC. They are for freedom of speech, but are against “hate speech” (aka cartoons) — even though it’s not hate speech.
Calling for assaulting or killing people for their beliefs, whether it’s ISIL, or some moron on an Arizona parking lot, is HATE speech. BTW: saying you’re going to harm someone, if you have the means and opportunity, even if you don’t do it, is the crime of ASSAULT and you can go to prison for it.
When the intent is to foment anger and hate (hmm, like Lush Rimbaugh) and the means is there to your “subjects”, our “rules” FCC and others on slander and libel come up with, say that public speech can be protected, BECAUSE you didn’t do the end harm yourself. There are some gray areas out there, called shadows.
Do you support my right to own a gun even though you may not want to own one?As long as your mentally stable, not a felon, and a responsible gun owner. I suspect you are for that also. It is not good when you have a gun and the other guy has a gun and is not mentally stable, a responsible gun owner or is a felon. How do we keep guns out of the hands of those that should not have them?
Do you support my right to own a gun even though you may not want to own one?.I do think that Demonstrably Insane or Criminal Behaviour should be a Bar to possessing a gun..As a for instance, the “open Carry” nuts in Txas who went into the Offices of Texas Legislature members and openly Threatened to Kill anyone who voted against the Legislation they wanted passed..That is Felonious Assault. But, in Texas, they not only Got Away with it, some of the legislators treated them like Heros.
Yes but there are few of those like government building, airports and probably a majority of private businesses (but it is their right. I think they are worried about employees going postal.)I am not against gun ownership. I just want to keep them out of the hand of imbeciles.

Conservatives find that hard to understand.
Either they hate the person, and everything that person does is “wrong”, or they love a person and everything that person does is “right”.
The idea of “I support this aspect of the person, but disapprove of that aspect”… well that simply doesn’t compute for them.

Actually the only closed minded, black and white thought I hear and see posted on sites like this is from liberals.
