Thank the kids for this one. LIstening to conversations amongst my youngâuns and the others in carpools or scouts, you learn very quickly that when a kid ascribes âstupidâ to any other creatures behavior, it really means âNot what I wanted.â
I sometimes think they have selective intelligence. Mine of course learned âwalkâ, and how to spell it. He also learned various synonyms for walk, and how to spell those too, like âambleâ, stroll", and even âconstitutionalâ. He never learned âbathâ, but then he didnât receive many of them. Like all dogs, he hated baths and going to the vet. I never understood the antipathy toward baths. The vet I got.

Actually, Toby. Dogs are very intelligent animals.But I suppose there is always one that isnât.xxx
