    @Ed Morgan.. This concept predates the Roadrunner, the Yellow Brick Road which seemed to go on forever in The Wizard of Oz was actually painted on a vertical surface at the end of a small studio.

    I’d like to see a few good “3D” sidewalk murals. Are they as impressive as they seem to be in photographs? Do they fool people on the scene? Do children and animals take them as real?

    There’s a nice mural in Monroeville AL with a scene out of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD , one in Brewton depicting logging operations, one in Jay FL based on cotton.
