Has all the makings of a very eventful getaway.

Sadly, there’s one main thing cats think of when they are around sand.

Being from San Diego, one of the last things you want at the beach is a sandwich – unless you’re into crunchy ones. Yuck!

so, herding cats IS just like herding cats.

There are some lovely beaches on both coasts and Wasaga Beach, here in Ontario, is considered to be the longest fresh water beach in the world. By the way, we have electricity AND indoor plumbing in our igloos and tepees.

All praise Yum Yum, the mighty huntress, who dispatched 3 flies this morning. She told me they were very crunchy and tasty (yuck!)

Yup, my Oliver stalked the first indoor fly of the season Monday….a big black buzzing one. That fly must have been dispatched right away…bet it was de-lish!

Awesome photos today. Thanks LadyKat and JP Steve for sticking up for us canucks. Mind, funniest thing ever is watching people here in the BC lower mainland area trying to drive if it actually snows in the winter :)

I live in Daytona (World’s Most Famous) Beach. We have 20 miles of beautiful beach which is where cars used to race until the Speedway was built. Around here, the “West Coast” means somewhere totally different – it can get a little confusing at times. I loved the Salad Cat and the pure white “Belly Rub” cat looks exactly like my Snowbear (except her eyes are the same color). And I’d like to order that pop-up book!

Since ’armymon3 refers to Daytona Beach first, I suspect she indicating that in Florida, “West Coast” means the coast of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, while “East Coast” means the Atlantic coast. What cross the continent to get east or west – takes much too much time.
