I would suggest, you are reading the RIGHT comics… if you do not have to worry about what younger kids might find.

Ahh, the good ol’ days, when racism, sexism, and homophobia were not just acceptable, they were the norm. God, how I miss the days when we could keep the blacks out of our schools and restaurants, when women knew their place (and we could give them a backhand should they forget it), and when we could beat the hell out of anyone we even had the suspicion was a queer-o-sexual. We taught Christianity in schools so we could pass our prejudices on to our children – Jews, Muslims and everyone else were fair game for ridicule or violence. You all remember those happy times when we could get off work, spend the evening at the bar, drive home drunk, smack the wife and kids around a bit, then hit the hay. We worked until we were 65, and then if we were lucky we could live another year or two before we died of “old age”. Our cars didn’t have seat belts or emissions controls, of course – that damned gubmint couldn’t tell us what to do. Not that they had the time – they were too busy chasing commies and keeping us safe from those red bastards and their nukes.

Yes, those good ol’ days… how I miss ‘em(for those who can’t see the sarcasm this post is dripping with, I’d like to point out that those “good old days” weren’t as good as your rose coloured glasses would have you remember them – unless you happened to be white, male, christian, straight, and middle class.)

You mean the days when the cartoon characters ran around hitting each other on the head with sticks, getting run over by cars, etc?
