Saleswoman: I meant three SWIMSUITS, NOT three servings of COMFORT FOOD! Cathy: In that case, hand in the rest of the bag!

I am getting so bored with this strip. What happened to the dogs and Cathy’s interaction with them? I enjoyed seeing how Electra affected her life and her relationship. I was happy when another dog came along and entered her life even though a husband was brought bumping along with it.
By the way don’t think by that remark that I don’t approve of husbands. I had a real winner. I still miss him. He was killed in an accident.
He loved the dogs too.

Teresa, thanks for your kind words and concern. I appreciate it. We had a great life, 30 years together. Both of us loved our dogs and they brought us great joy.
That’s why our favorite strips were those that featured dogs, Marmaduke, Red and Rover, Fred Basset, and so forth. Cathy was single and her dog was a big part of her life. Now she seems so selfish and cel cented and involved in everything but her adoring dog Electra.
So I hope that she returns to her former personality and features the dogs, both of them, in her life again. Then I will probably become interested in ths strip again.
So, Teresa, thanks again for caring enough to send me a note. That was so kind of you.

flong2934: I just read the additional comments since yesterday afternoon when I last checked. I’m sorry for your loss as well… Losing someone so suddenly is terrible.
