Janis: Water oak! Janis: White oak! Janis: Chestnut oak... Red oak! Janis: Cartoon oak!
Janis knows where she is
She knows her woodies.
I see a cork oak in their future.
This was acorny idea for a strip, but I like it! (Mighty cartoons from a corny, little joke, grow.)
Arlo still doesn’t seem to realize where he is.
I love this self-referential humor.
And the forth wall is shattered again.
A new way to break the 4th wall.
Oakey Doakey
Nope, it’s oak.
Janis, stop before you get to poison oak. 8-}
Where’s the pin oak?
Ooooakay!
In Florida (and other states that abut the Gulf of Mexico) we have the live oak. See Google Images for some doozies. Their leaves look somewhat like those of the cartoon oak, but have a vein down the middle and are pointier on the ends.
“I like the free, fresh wind in my hair Life without care I’m broke, it’s oak…”
Heh, heh.
The cartoon oak produces the cartoon nut right in front of her..
I work at a garden center. Someone asked me if we had any Acorn trees. He had liked them as a child, but somehow never knew the proper name.
If it were a realistic depiction of an oak there would be 10,000 twigs and sticks underneath.
By the way, Roadrunner often pulled out signs to communicate with the audience.
As long as it isn’t poison oak…
