You may have problems opening it, Jimbo, but it seems to be very easy for the squirrels….

A lot of outside sheds these days are plastic. Forget the lock if you keep food in there. Animals will go the Gordian Knot route, and just chew right through the sides! Dumb animals are geniuses that way. My father used to match wits with the squirrels trying to keep them off the bird feeders. We called the ongoing saga “Dad vs. The Squirrels.” I think both sides enjoyed themselves.

Good thing you didn’t tell the squirrels, Jimbo.

Raccoons will get what they want, then fasten it back up – just for the fun of working the fastener again.

You might want to rethink that, Jimbo.

Our local hardware store sells mini metal trashcans and that’s what my birdseed goes into. The raccoons have stood on the lid trying to open it and failed.

When I saw this all I could think of was that old song that goes, “Anything you can do, I can do better.” Here’s a link for the original version from “Annie get your gun,” but there are several remakes including one with Elsa from Frozen and Jack Frost. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO23WBji_Z0
