Small but mighty! Researchers at the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute in Israel have engraved the entire Hebrew Bible on a chip the size of a grain of sugar! 151 years late, a message in a bottle detailing Japanese sailor Chunosuke Matsuyama's 18th century shipwreck washed ashore- in his home village! NY Jets #6, Mark Sanchez, started on Monday Night Football's 666th broadcast, during week 6 of the 2012 season. His stats: 6 interceptions, 6 touchdowns, longest completion 66 yards and a quarterback rating of 66.6!

Someone has been pranked! First, the Jets week 6 game was on a Sunday vs the Colts. He threw 2 TDs and no INTs for 82 tards and a 109 rating. The most TDs he threw in one game was in week 11, 2011 vs the Bills – it was 4TDs. This can be fact shecked at http://www.nfl.com/player/marksanchez/79858/gamelogs?season=2012 .

Now the Steeler’s #6 player needs to get a bunch of sevens like that (Steelers and Christian rock band Stryper use black and gold/yellow in their insignia)

RE: Chip story—Would be better if the scientists studied a print version of the Old Testament!

Week 6 in 2012 the Jets played the Colts on Sunday, not Monday, and Sanchez only had 2 TDs, each of only 5 yards, no interceptions and 82 yards passing total. Jets did kill the Colts, though, 35-7. Anyone fact check these?

If everything that was ever written was put on those Israeli microchips, would it still fill less space than a thimble?

@BobC, @Bilan, comixbomix, and @ B Durham: The game they refer to was on October 8, 2012 which was actually week 5 not week 6. This was the only Monday Night game the Jets played that season. In that game, the Jets lost to the Houston Texans 23-17. Sanchez’s final stats in that game were as follows: 14 completions in 31 attempts for 230 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions, a longest completion of 36 yards, and a quarterback rating of 54.5.Also, the score of that Jets-Colts game in week 6 was actually Jets 35 Colts 9.All of the above information is courtesy of Pro-Football-Reference.com. I admit that I had to look it up. Something there didn’t seem quite right.I wonder how many more of these Ripley’s “facts” we could debunk with a little research.
