Poor Noah. Here he is, the actual originator of the Golden Arch (and what a variety of proteins he was about to offer), but does he get any respect? Noooo.

Actually, I have to say that no one can draw sweeter looking critters than Wiley. Still would be happy to buy a Wileybear if he ever decides to sell a little stuffed animal. And now, here are some equally nice looking cows, dogs and sheep. Have no idea whether the giraffes have nice faces, though…

Some of those creatures must be the grazers of the lost arch. Joan of Arch should be there somewhere too.

You know, I’m beginning to think it’s not just Wiley Bears. I think all of Wiley’s renditions of animals are adorable…I mean, look at those cows…But of course, the fact that we know how wily Wiley Bears can be, does make them more adorable……..

    Umm…I don’t think it’s a golden arch/Mickey D reference. Wouldn’t it be Stargate?

This reminds me of one of the very early Far Side strips (by Gray Larson). The picture is almost the same and there is a booming voice from above: “AN ARK AN ARK, YOU FOOL!”

When Noah’s neighbor did the same thing, he knew he had an arch rival.

(Defiance. On SyFy. Friday Night.)Why wouldn’t the Ark be an agricultural compound above projected sea level rise during a period of global flooding from glacial recession and desert encroachment, where the rest of all the coastal habitats were drowned? You wouldn’t have to worry about the structural integrity limitations of using wood without the strength to withstand wave force over the length of such a large structure.

Interestingly, “ark” is used in the Bible to describe three items; all are supposed to be boxes for saving things. They were:The ship Noah built, the container for holding the ten commandments, and the reed basket that baby Moses was placed in and floated down the Nile.

Since God could supposedly make the entire universe, would it have been so hard just to provide an ark??

Two of each animal must have seemed plausible to stone age goat herders who had never met an elephant or Rhino or Giraffe or Polar Bear or Anaconda………and where did they keep the fire ants…..or more importantly WHY :)

Not bad. I wonder who else in the Bible was either afflicted with poor hearing or misunderstood his instructions. Did Goliath forget to duck or was David aiming low? Lots of possibilities.

Well, the Dimensions given for the Ark certainly fit a Box better than a Boat..And, all the depictions I’ve ever seen seem to have Added a Cabin on the main deck. That wasn’t in God’s instructions Anywhere..

Wow, first Mr. Miller rants against meat and dairy, pushing the vegan agenda, then he shifts gears and promotes the icon of fast foods, adding in the ‘meat and dairy’ animals too… Just Wow..
