Bev….gone to Costco, ________________Isn’t that about right? I have a Costco Cupboard, Right now i have enough TP for a Convention and I won’t need toothbrushes until 2042!I always have chicken broth, tomatoes, canned corn, pineapple. soup, instant mashed potatoes, and frozen pizza!
Dogsniff…you do know you’re unleashing a possibly major battle?
Ah…. the wars that have erupted over the proper direction of the TP roll.
I’m with you… it goes over..but my own mother tried to bring us up to hang it the other way…she thought it looked more “natural.”
There are also some people who want the paper to come from the back because they’re convinced it’s a bit less accessible, when you have one of these at home…
Its been over week since I’ve had a donation. Ive been getting visits, but no one is donating. Frustrating.
Tuesday, my day off, i went to Newport to talk to the newspaper about possibly doing a story for me, but got called away to a clients in Lincoln City that had an issue that he could not resolve without help. (So much for a day off. What can you do? Refuse? No.)I dId get a flyer to the seiner center in both towns. I’ll go back to Newport on my next day off and try the paper then.
I had a discusion about my plan too my boss and she is stoked! She took one of my flyers and photocopied it to spread around the building that our offices are in.
About insurance.I called my insurance company and told them what i was up to. They said that my premiums would not be higher just because i had a wheelchair van and i would be transporting clients. My premiums would be higher because it was a work vehicle. No worse than a tradesman would be paying on his work truck.
Also, my boss said that she would discourage me from volunteering my services. If I’m on the clock with a client, i and the client would be covered by the company insurance!
Woo Hoo!
Hows that for an endorsement from your boss?
Want an idea of what I’m going to be paying for a van? This is one of the sights I’m looking at. You can so what is available. Im looking at used vans, with less than 100,000 miles.
True story. There is an older couple that live in my area. I don’t think tat they own a car. What they have is a custom tandem bike. His seat is in the back and its an upright sit. Her part is in the front and it is a recline sit. You see them everywhere. They really get around. They are both old hippies. Long white beard on him, and both of them sport tie-die under their florescent safety vests.Im not sure which one steers.I met them in a local members only store named Bi-Mart. She is profoundly deaf. He takes good care of her.

But as you can see…. it hardly matters.

2Old…. my Costco always-on-hand inventory includes paper towels. Kleenex, toilet paper and and canned tuna.
When I bought TP in six-roll packs, and tuna a few cans at a time, I started to panic if I got down to the last 2 rolls or 2 cans.
After years of 30-roll (5 6-packs) TP packages, and 12-pack tuna, I find that I panic when I have far more left than I ever used to own at one time.

Meanwhile… the Bixby’s…. remember them?
I guess their “team effectiveness” routine includes meditation…. or maybe actual yoga…team-building office yoga is all the rage..
How very modern of them to keep up! And to even attempt the Lotus position. I’m impressed!
This is about as close as I can get…

According to the original patent application, you are absolutely Correct – but don’t try to tell that to the “opposite” rollers.
