The sad part is that 3 of the best ones – Fiorina, Jindal, and Gilmore – will not be in prime time. Do not understand why anyone would vote Trump, but then I did not understand why anyone voted Obama.
I love this guy. He makes the Republicans easy to beat. They all feel obliged to respond to his crazy, and it makes them all look crazed. He airs out some particularly vicious attitude, and they all validate is as a real GOP thing by not ignoring him or calling him out as ridiculous. And they come off sort of lackluster, since no one can do crazy like Trump. With that brilliant strategy, we can even beat them with recycled Clinton. . Donald Trump -- 2016’s Sarah Palin.Too bad about Perry not making it, though. He missed his one chance at not being the goofiest kid in the class.
@ fbjsr You have got to be kidding. Obama’s recession? You do understand, or maybe you really don’t that George Dubya Bush inherited record budget surpluses from Bill Clinton (who had inherited record budget deficits from Dubya’s daddy and turned them into record surpluses), invaded two countries, failed to regulate Wall Street and the economy imploded completely in September of 2008 when BUSH WAS PRESIDENT. Every month thereafter while Bush was president, job losses continued to mount by the hundreds of thousands every month until Obama took over. Obama rescued GM, saving thousands of jobs, got the stimulus to work, and for the first few months, job losses slowed until, a few months in, they turned to job gains, and under Obama we have seen and unprecedented five straight years of month-to-month job gains every month. Obama inherited the record deficits Bush created and has slashed the deficit by more than two thirds. Though not in positive territory (surplus) yet, Obama becomes only the third president in the last 50 years to preside over year-to-year reductions in the deficit (the other two were LBJ and Clinton, who did reduce the deficits they inherited all the way to turning them into budget surpluses, the only two presidents in the last 50 years to do so). The TEApubliCONs have a lot of nerve to lecture Democrats about fiscal responsibility.
