Well, I had these three decorative pepper plants that looked about the same as Opalâs plant. I put them outside thinking I will throw them out later and forgot all about them. When I saw these again, they had dropped all their leaves, but one of three had still a green stick. I replanted it and brought indoors and now it is not only growing new leaves but also blossoming.
After my mother-in-law died, her son said to me, âMom always said that when it came time to pull the plug, [my wife] would do it immediately, itâd take me a day to do it, and [the other sister] would never do it.â Thatâs pretty much how it played out after the hospital put their mom on life support after she stroked out overnight. And the hospital wouldnât take her off until all three siblings agreed on the call.

Reminds me of Charlie Brownâs Christmas tree. Whereâs Linus and his blanket when you need them?

If I ever look like that plant, I hope somebody will do me a favor and pull the plug.

sometimes it works. sometimes itâs really dead

Itâs never too late to throw away a dead plant. Maybe the roots are still alive. Why not keep it around â and throw it away later?!

It may be Opal or someone else. But whoever pulls the plug on you will be the last one âcause âŠitâs one pull and, yâknow, RIP Earle.
