Ronnie, recently retired as a Roach Wrestling Referee for Raid Research, revels in how red ants rarely resist rumbling with rhinoceros beetles.

Ronnie listen to a man who has been there and done that…you need to venture out more. Buy a bus pass; go downtown, visit the Rock Shop and eat a cupcake, come on you can do it, its a small stretch but you’ve got to start somewhere…just go for it

Ronnie loves to video those bug fights and put them on the Animal Planet website. However the moderators over there have declined to sponsor Ronnie on his quest to find the toughest bug. There has been a question raised the Ronnie may be encouraging these fights and the accusations of doping have been raised. Ronnie did contact Rousey about taking on a particular tough ant named Jim but she declined the offer.I did however hear Ms. Higglebottom may take the challenge once she gets her doctor to sign off on the medical release.

I guess the thought that popped into my head upon seeing ‘ol Ronnie was: Is he looking for fights between two bugs, or for a bug with which he personally would like to tussle? For my part I like boxing, when it’s not fixed.

This site is driving me CRAZY!And yes, before you all jump in and say it…I do already know that it’s a very short trip.

It wouldn’t let me in to the forum last night, when I wanted to welcome Laynegg… so glad to see you here.Great to see newcomers jump right in, show an interest in local affairs…. and even accept some civic responsibility.

Stop by my salon any time for a Welcome to Ballard County Gift Pack…

It includes samples of my specially formulated (by X-Tech Industries) Sunshine XtraGlow™ shampoo and conditioner, and coupons for 42% off your first haircut, and 27% off your first manicure, with a freecoat of XTI ColorChange™ edible glitter.

Plus a few other things depending upon what hasn’t been selli.. um… I mean, on what I have on hand.

Anyhow…. right now I can’t load any comments beyond the first 15, either… so I don’t know WHAT else Bev has said about me.It was all good, I trust.Right, Bev?

And now it won’t let me submit this comment! So I’ll save it for later… and hope I can submit it then! And now it’s two hours later…trying again….Here goes nothing….

Ok, and finally, I can read the rest, too…BEV…. you put yourself on that schedule right NOW.

And you KNOW I supervise the night shift at the Tiki 7 days a week!As the Vet pointed out… you didn’t say what time zone… But between 4 and 7am MY time (PDT) I’m asleep… and usually somewhat later. After all, in the daytime I have a busy salon, a pie shop, a bakery and a bustling tomato factory to run!Luckily, though. Maura herself watches Stanley when she’s not at work…unless she needs a break, and am always on call for her.And they go to bed at 11pm CST…unless Stanley escapes…but YOU are always all over the comics at that hour..So I suggest you keep your eyes open!Gotta run.busy busy busy…unlike some people.

I have a kind-of-a update this afternoon.I have a client the needs a new power chair. Today we went to the hospital to have a consultation/fitting with a physical therapist and a tech rep from the chair company.I got talking to the rep and found out that he had acquired a wheelchair accessible van because his wife has MS.(Im starting to seriously hate that disease.) They did their research and price shopped. They looked into used and new conversions sold by the conversion companies. What he discovered was, if you are going to go brand new, the best thing to do is buy the van first. THEN take it to a conversion company. Its cheaper in the long run, even with a comprehensive conversion, to purchase the van first. He also said that the Ford Transit Connect that i have been eyeing is one of the better looking options in a used van. They are not (relatively) overpriced and are a very sound, smaller option. The biggest flaw (if you can call it that) is that they are ugly.I can live with ugly, as long as it is functional. And safe. And cheeper to operate.

Bev…you know my morning appointments start at 1:17pm.

I do already have a 2:11 on Monday…only a quick haircut, so I could give you 2:47….will that work?

If not, the next one would have to be after my 4:09 perm…say… 6:38? I may be able to finish a little faster, but I’d have to call you.

If that’s too late, you can have any time Tuesday, during my regular hours of 1:17 to 9:29….I do try to be at the Tiki for the turn.

Don’t know that I’ve ever seen bug fights in my back yard; but tonight I found two slugs hanging from the siding getting it on. At least, I assume that’s why they were almost inseparably wrapped around each other like a caduceus. Salt’s great, y’know?
