I assure you, @MontanaLady, banks do not consider themselves to have so much as one extra red cent. They consider themselves to need ALL of it. Even more that they don’t already have, if they could get it.
@Number6, as to single-panel strips. have you ever tried Haiku Ewe? Much less detailed, bit the details are first-class, and the colours are 3D and marvellous. But the author has stopped doing them, so they are in rerun - nothing lost, as far as I can see.
Try it! You will quickly learn how to write a haiku - commenters do it often - and how to appreciate big Al the Gal’s subtle sense of humour.
There was a strip once where Gaylord interviewed Russell Myers, the creator of the strip, and found out that he gets paid for it even though the characters do all the work. Naturally, the characters mugged Myers and got his money.
The ‘Opportunists’ in this world have been TAKING and DEMANDING money and stuff; however because of their greed…… their future financial situation will be grim.
The society here in North America will be one of HAVE and HAVE-NOTS.
Your parents had nothing here on Earth because they would not work. They demanded for everything they had, and if you did not meet their demands they threatened you until they got what they wanted.

This is an answer to a comment made yesterday:
