I REALLY hope there are couples “out there” who have this much fun. . .seems like all I read in the newspaper or fiction are couples going through some crisis or other.________________________________My husband and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary this weekend (our actual anniversary is 9/3, but we always celebrate it Labor Day Weekend). We spent yesterday with our daughters at a big car show, then went to a buffet place for lunch. It may not sound like much, but we had a blast, and I couldn’t have had a better anniversary…does that count?
K.C. Fahel and Dsnerker: Thanks for the good news. The very best and much continued happiness to both of you. Myself, I’m going to try the bed-bouncing thing. . .I myself am a GREAT practioner of and believer in enjoyment in “small things.”
K.C. Congrats! We were 1976. I have a suggestion for you for next year. We had a picnic in our yard for Vintage car lovers or Mustang owners. I did all of the food and they brought their cars! They loved seeing each others cars and all the hoods were open. Just an idea for you.
Final comment, Bandalusia: 1. Where is your story? I don’t see anything on this board but your unhappy comment. 2. When I first came on yesterday, the only two comments were Dsnerker and K.C.Fahel, so I simply acknowledged their posts. I came back to be delighted by the many couples who shared. I didn’t comment at all after that. I’ve always loved this strip for the good feelings it promoted.
