Katy: You're writing a book of poems? Adam: I am. Katy: Lay one on me, daddy-o. Adam: Okay...ahem... Ssss! Hot coffee, yow! Smell the beans, sip sip. Warmth oozes into my eagerly awaiting... Katy: Stop! Stop! If you're too lazy to rhyme, I'm too busy to listen. Adam: You try rhyming "digestive pathways"!

By monicaspeaks Reposted from monicaspeaks – Coffee PoemThere is no other way to start the day
I wouldn’t function there is no way
When I smell the fresh coffee brewing
My mouth waters and I start drooling
One cup and then two, and a few cups more
I race around, my feet no longer touching the floor
Coffee gives me lots of zing and pep
I feel it’s punch in each and every step
It puts a huge smile upon my sweet face
And makes me feel like I’m running in place
So tasty and good, it’s oh so yummy
It makes for a very very happy tummy
Before I know it my eyes can no longer blink
So I grab my cup and more coffee I do drink
Coffee coffee coffee so good in every drop
Bouncing in my chair, oh I will never stop
Coffee is my drug of choice you see
I love coffee… and coffee loves me

Unfortunately my digestive pathways Sometimes give in to digressive bad ways.
I could go on for, well i won’t say what, let’s just say it rhymes with pyorrhea. (gum disease)
