So that’s what my dogs are saying.
Doh! Me and my thick skull….

I’ve finally got it. Petey’s related to Doug!!! No wonder he can talk.

How do you know yet it doesn’t involve squirrels?
Baslim, Doug is the dog from “Up”.

I’ve a bad feeling about this — doors aren’t wedged shut for no good reason. Careful! :) Oh, and I like the ‘omage to Up! ….

Victory and Joe have finally figured out what to do with Danae.
runninanreadin about 14 years ago
Actually, I thought ALL dogs were just sayin’ “Hey! Hey! HeyHey! Hey! Hey! Hey!…”

“I hate squirrels..!”

We have not seen Victoria in a while, maybe this is why?
Potrzebie about 14 years ago
Again, don’t expect the adventures of Danae in this one. It should be more down to earth. An Ordinary basil tie-in would be a great story.

Talk about a one-track mind.

Oh yes, he thinks just like his late owner…a homeless man.

I love Petey!!! :)

Typical boy/girl conversation.
rmbdot about 14 years ago
It’s been a while. I did not remember that Petey participates in dialogue as does Lucy.

I’m sticking by what I said yesterday –
A little girl in a red (okay, it’s pink; it’s been washed a lot) dress with a Peter Pan collar and her dog on an adventure…
It’s an Annie tribute! (She originally wore a dress much like that.)
Since Petey can talk now, I have to wonder if the shack contains Daddy Warbucks, the Asp, Punjab and the all-powerful Mr. Am.
Or it’s a dream inspired by the book she was reading.
Thanks, Wiley!

If I said it contained snacks and treats and toys you’d care!

Reminds me of the seagulls in Finding Nemo. “Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!”

Sorry, nightshade, but, no. You’re reading WAY too much into it. This is the same outfit Kate has worn for many years.

Gasp! Katie! Don’t you think you will abandon the shed and leave for going home. Keep going on and see what inside the shed looks like? WE all wanna know what the mysterious supense will be going on. :-)
lazygrazer about 14 years ago
The good news is…the shed is quite small, so the slathering and slithering monster contained within can’t be all that big.
peter0423 about 14 years ago
Ah – but it’s the huge subterranean cavern whose entrance is in the shed that you should worry about….
Wildmustang1262 about 14 years ago
I surely hope Katie and Petey will not fall into that shed and all the way in the hole like “Alice in the Wonderland.”
Varnes about 14 years ago
I guess they’d know by now if it was just an outhouse….
dinosaur123 about 14 years ago
Looks like the early version of Dr. Who’s phone booth ………

Re: Wiley’s comments –
I guess I’m just suffering from Annie withdrawal.
mizcraig about 14 years ago
I am soooo glad we’re finally getting some Katie/Petey stories! I love Katie! I love Petey!

To all the comments about Petey talking….
I thought the girls only imagined their conversations with their pets

Oh My! Maybe that is the shed where they locked in Danae’s evil twin!

Cliquegge, are you sure? I don’t know which scares me worse, the idea of Danae’s good twin or the idea of Danae’s evil twin.
Ice_Bear66 about 14 years ago
I believe the name of the dog in the “UP” move is ‘Dug’. Also, I get the impression that it’s the kids only who hear their pets talk…imho.

I’m glad Calvin has no twins.

If you replace “squirrels” with “sex”, then yeah…

Great one again Wiley, and I hope Kate at least has the sense to peek in window(s) before letting something loose ;-)
