I hate people who invoke Occam’s Razor, but don’t understand it!

Really, I’m serious.

Actually, Occam’s Razor states nothing about what should be correct: Occam’s Razor simply says do not add explanations without need! That is, ASSUME that the simplest answer (one explanation) is correct until you demostrate that you need 2+ explanations.

No, Wiley; NO! That is not what Occam’s Razor means! Occam’s Razor states that everything being equal, the simplest answer is most likely to be the correct one. There are children who receive most of their education from the comics, so it is important that you teach correctly! :)
