I must be post-modernist, then. Who would have thought? I like all the weird original old things, flavors, phrases, and concepts at the solid basis of present-day dumbed-down items. I’m considered a weird old thing myself, so maybe that’s why! Black licorice is sort of nasty — but it’s LICORICE!

We always gave the black jelly beans to Mom. She was the only one who could stomach them.

I will gladly take any unwanted licorice. Not the red stuff. That’s not real licorice.
