Not at my church. We have people in suits, and people in jeans & t-shirts with tattoos. My family prefers to dress up for church because, for us, it’s respectful. We do NOT sneer at those who choose to go more casually. We’re pretty clique-free. (We’re also a very small church, so there really aren’t enough people to form different cliques.)
That is an extremely limited, I dare say outdated model. I know very few churches where what you wear is an issue at all. I have been to couple in my life (each time in the south) where they expected people to dress up, but that is increasingly rare.

Actually Adam and Eve created fig leaf clothing, sewing leaves together to hide their nakedness, God supplied them with animal skin clotheing.

It seems that she’s a Casualist like me, prefering the jeans and t-shirt look.
